Supercharger is a Danish band founded in 2009 at Copenhaegen. They playing swinging-Rock-n-‘roll’ with a touch of metal that’s how the band describes themselves.

Members are: Mikkel Neperus (lead vocal), Thomas Buchwald (guitar), Benjamin Funk (drums), Lars Rygaard (keyboard, percussion),Karsten Dines Johansen (bass) and

Dennis Samaras (guitar). Never heard before from this rock band. They made 2 album “That’s How We Roll” (2011) and “Handgrenade Blues” (2009). “Are you satisfied” from their second album became a hit on the Swedish radio wich results in a nomination for “this year’s international breakthrough” at the Bandits Rock Awards.

Broken Hearts And Fallaparts” the third album: is there not an omen that says first impression makes the album. Yes this one of these albums. An opener “Like A Pit Bull” a great song with a metal touch. The song is great you can’t stop tapping your feat! Great solo and what a great raw riff, I like this. Second song title track sounds again so good with intense riff soaked track. Why we don’t know this band earlier. I think I know it; the Danes don’t want to give them up. “Blood Red Lips” good story lyrics take you on a journey of wanton lust and temptation of the yet unknown pleasures of the flesh! I’ve never heard so many different types of guitar and style played on one song. Also a nice tangy guitar twists riffs. “Hung Over in Hamburg” a nice banjo piece to begin and that the song explode in a blues, rock song.

All by all a great album that is worthy to get a place in you r album collection. Don’t hesitated and buy this record. Oh almost forgotten great cover ;-)
