Outtrigger

Outtrigger is a young Swedish band, that was founded in 2009, already released some EP’s, and now this is their first full album. Basically what you get from these guys is music that could please a lot of people.  It’s got it’s hard rock moments, but also hints of Cyber metal, nu metal, and even mainstream rock elements. Despite combining such a heteroclitic mix of genres, I admit liking this album quite a lot.  The songs are quite catchy, and energetic, but I’m afraid people who stick to traditional metal will not like this.

Jay Smith

In Scandinavia, this second album from Swedish singer/songwriter Jay Smith was already released at the end of 2013, June saw the release for Europe. However pure hard rock/metal lovers should be warned. The music on this album is not hard rock, nor is it metal.  No, it’s a combination of many different rock genres, with some pop, country and blues thrown in as well, but culminating in a very good, pleasing album.

Avatar

The Swedish band ‘Avatar’ debuted eight years ago with ‘Thoughts Of No Tomorrow’. They had influences by bands such as: ‘At The Gates’, ‘In Flames’, ‘Rammstein’,… they were a great inspiration for the band but with their previous release ‘Black Waltz’ they had found their own way.

Supercharger

Supercharger is a Danish band founded in 2009 at Copenhaegen. They playing swinging-Rock-n-‘roll’ with a touch of metal that’s how the band describes themselves.

Members are: Mikkel Neperus (lead vocal), Thomas Buchwald (guitar), Benjamin Funk (drums), Lars Rygaard (keyboard, percussion),Karsten Dines Johansen (bass) and

Quality rockbands in Sweden: it’s full of it and ‘Mustasch’ is one of the greater rockbands in Sweden. They are back with the sequel of their album ‘Sound Like Hell, Looks Like Heaven’ from 2012.
