Metal for Jesus is a compilation cd with 17 tracks divided among five groups:
Narnia, Audiovision, Divinefire, Golden Resurrection and Modest Attraction.
The album genre is mostly power metal, and allways with religious texts (quite obvious when the album name is Metal For Jezus).
the numbers are chosen by Johannes Jonsson, who also runs the metal community in Sweden. He is also the driving force behind the metal Christians in Scandinavia. The song that stands out for me is the only song that isn’t power metal 'modest Attraction - down on my knees.’ the rest all seems a bit alike. the long lash out’s in the vocals, guitar solos with keyboards combined. not my thing, so I don’t give points.
So if you’re into metal with the message of god in it: go buy the album the Pope may be a fan of it, but he can’ t convince me…
