Sami Hynninen aka Sir Albert Witchfinder is especially known from projects and bands such as Opium Warlords, KLV, Reverend Bizarre, Spiritus Mortis, Armanenschaft, Orne, The Candles Burning Blue, Azrael Rising and many others. These entities do differ from each other, yet all of them have one common idea: the creation of weird, dark and extreme sonics.

This counts for the March 15-project as well. March 15 was actually formed as a kind of post-KLV-essence, but they never reached any worthy status. Who knows, it might help with this compilation???

Our Love Becomes A Funeral Pyre consists of two parts. The first two tracks (Our Love Becomes A Funeral Pyre and No Love Lost) were originally recorded in 2004, meant to be a 7”EP, but there had not been an official release. Apparently the mini-vinyl record got brought out in Chile in 2008, but that’s it. This album consists of both these two tracks in a re-mastered edition. The title track brings a mostly filthy form of grinding and droning industrialised Noise with tortured screaming vocals and aural distortion, while No Love Lost has more of an ambient atmosphere to counterpart the noisy Industrial-sounds.

Besides, this album comprises three ‘new’ songs, composed in between 2010 and 2013. Claustrophilic Love Of The Warm Dark Places Where The Masters Of War Make Their Home and The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Name were produced and co-performed with Jouni Leppikangas, who’s known from his assistance to Opium Warlords too, and Love Under Will, the fifth and last piece on this compilation album, was conceived with assistance of Joona Lukala. These compositions are still noisy and industrialised, yet more of a Harsh Electronics point of view. Nihilism and minimalism are keywords, rather than ‘composition’ or ‘creation’, so expect the most naked essence of noisy sounds combined with morbid voices.

For fans of: MZ.412, NON, Blod, Masonna, Psywarfare, Oskryf, Aderlating or KLV. …just little less interesting, I guess…
