My Endless Wishes was formed in 2005, by Frida and Martin Viberg, who actually are married since 2006.  The themselves describe their music influences being bands like Nightwish, Evanescence, Within Temptation etc.

That may well be the case in the origin, but it doesn’t shine through on this album, or not completely that is.  Their music is heavy metal, but verging on hard rock. This means one song tends to be more hard rock, while the next song tends more towards heavy metal. Not that this means that this, their debut album is not a good one. That is certainly not the case.  Frida has a very crisp and clear voice, and, if you ask me, they have put her vocals on the forefront of the songs, while the music itself, also being very good, is pushed back a bit, which is a shame really.

A very promising debut, I can’t wait to hear their next effort.
