Chaoswolf

ChaosWolf are a semi-productive outfit by Mexican ‘singer’ Chaoswolf, and known for being a psychic infection, delusional, fighting against all trends within the Black Metal scene. Once again he joined forces with Berserker and Senectus, colleagues in bands like Black Desolation, Divine Dynasty or the great Calvarium Funestus. Templo De Palabras Muertas is the second full length, with material written in between Spring 2013 and late 2014.

Pregierz

Pręgierz are a very young duo from Poland that wrote, recorded and released a first demo, called Blood Sanctions, in Summer 2014, though this one being independently released on tape. About eight months later, Sweden’s finest Blood Harvest re-release that material, though this time on vinyl. The result is a double 7”EP, with 100 copies on white-red vinyl, and 200 on regular black vinyl.

Skeletal

Recently I got in touch with Jordan Fillmore, a guy from Moncton, Canada, who owns Burn Ward Records, a Noise / Industrial / Ambient label with tape-pressings especially. But the guy is active in some projects too, such as Manzbow or Skeletal, the latter being a solo-outfit by this human being.

Avitas

Hailing from the Canadian Western lands, Kelowna, British Columbia, Avitas are an Atheistic Libertarian Nationalistic and Anti-Abrahamic one-man army; not of the empty-headed racist kind, yet rather from a political-philosophical one.

Blackdeath

Russia’s Blackdeath (the one from Saint Petersburg) did climb up to be one of the most notorious acts from their home country on international scale.

Goat Semen

Goat Semen are a band from the capital of Peru, Lima, and they were formed fifteen years ago. Throughout those years, the band did record a couple of demos and they contributed on some split releases too, with the likes of e.g. Nazxul (the Australian one), Anal Vomit, Krieg (the one from New Jersey, U.S.) or Sabbat (indeed, thé Sabbat). Then, after the release of two live albums in 2007, activities were put on hold for several years.

Monastery Dead

Monastery Dead are a Saint-Petersburg-based combo, formed a decade ago. After a first demo, the band recorded the album Victims Of Senseless Massacre (Musica Production), followed in 2012 by Cold And Gloom (Wings Of Destruction). Now the band returns, once again subdue to some line-up changes, with their third full length studio album, Black Gold Appetite, which lasts for thirty five minutes.

Isenmor

Isenmor were formed in May 2014 in Baltimore by guitarist / vocalist Tim Regan and bassist / vocalist Mike Wilson, shortly after joined by drummer BG Drakeley, keyboardist / vocalist Jon Lyon, and violinists Nick Schneider (also vocals) and Miles Waldman.

Entrails

My favourite Swedeath album from 2013 surely (or at least: probably) was Raging Death, the third studio album by EntrailS, an act that was actually formed during the very early nineties. For the review, including an extended biography, I’d like to invite you to check out the review undersigned wrote, posted on September 7th 2013 (enter the band’s name in the ‘search’-tab to find it back immediately). I will not come back to the band’s history right here, right now, for it has been done on that former review. Yes, I’m lazy…

Exterminio

The Argentinian band Exterminio was rather ‘popular’ in their home country during the nineties, with inclusion of some well-acclaimed demo tapes. At the end of last century they did split up, but in 2006 they reformed. In 2007 Exterminio released their debut full length, Homicide In First Degree (via Hurling Metal Records), and in 2012 the second one, Inhuman Atrocities, via Icarus Music.
