Dan Deagh Wealcan

Dan Deagh Wealcan are a pretty young project with a Russian and an Ukrainian musician, i.e. original member Mikhael A. Repp (Dan Deagh Wealcan were supposed to be a solo-outfit of this Russian guy) and Ungrace’s Eugene ‘Iowa’ Zoidze-Mishchenkho. Earlier this year, the duo released its debut album, Two Straight Horizontal Lines And The Organized Chaos In Between: Director’s Cut, via Metal Scrap Records.

Ungoliantha

Ungoliantha is an old (formed almost two decades ago) yet un-productive band around Lord Sinned (bass and vocals) from Ukraine, and with some colleagues )guitar player V. Karavaev, drummer Kim and synth wizard Igor Vershinin), he recorded this first album (which includes pretty old material) in between Autumn 2011 and Autumn 2012.

Dark Fury (2)

Hail!

There is no need to write a full introduction on Polish horde Dark Fury, for you can find the necessary information in one of the previously written reviews I did this and last year; just click on the band’s name on top (the same, evidently, goes for the great other material on Lower Silesian Stronghold).

Torrens Conscientium

I truly hadn’t heard of this band before, but what Torrens Conscientium bring with All Alone With The Thoughts is one of the better things I’ve experienced in 2014 from Ukrainian soil (indeed, 2014, and we’re close to 2016, but so WTF???). For nearly fifty minutes this album is like a journey through spheres of emotionality, integrity, introspection, grief and, for one reason or another (yet not one the listener should underestimate), anger and disgust.

Serpentyne

In essence, ‘we’ at Concreteweb.be are a Rock-‘n’-Metal based webzine particularly. But there is a difference in between ‘we’ (that’s why I did notify it in my former phrase in italic) and ‘ME’ (there is a [subjective yet evident] reason to have this in capital letters; but that’s another story dealing with my eternal modesty and superiority), for the ‘me’ also tries to focus on other genres. There are several reasons, but I will not go too deeply into the subject.

Bestial Deform

One of the oldest yet still active (?) Death Metal entities from Russia is the horde called Bestial Deform, formed twenty five years ago. I do not know if it is because of that anniversary, but they re-release some of their oldest material, with professional assistance and support by two great Russian labels, More Hate Productions and Symbol Of Domination Productions.

Skullthrone

The Colombia-based quartet Skullthrone was formed five years ago, and recently they finished their debut album, called Biomechanical Messiah, which gets released by Satanath Records (Russia) and Morbid Skull Records (El Salvador), with distributional assistance of Metal Masala (India) and More Hate Productions (Russia).

Vomit Of Doom

In their five years of existence, Argentinian combo Vomit Of Doom recorded several demos and EP’s, and at the end of 2014 the Thai label Inhuman Assault Productions did release the five-track cassette Obey The Darkness. It was an omen for their upcoming debut full length album, which contains the very same name (and which, evidently, includes pretty much the very same inhuman sonic assaults).

Vermilion

Vermilion are a Belgian quartet, consisting of Michael Penson (keyboards, synths, sampling, production, mix, mastering), Timmy Segers (6- and 8-string guitars, lyrics and artwork), Tom Vansteenkiste (drums, samples, programming), and Tom Everaert (fretless & 5-string bass).
