Wiegedood

Once again, Consouling Sounds have quite an impressive band signed to their roster, though some of the members are / were working with this label before. Anyway, it does not matter, for this is another superb release done via this Flemish label: De Doden Hebben Het Goed (meaning something like ‘the dead are all right’) by Wiegedood (‘death in the cradle’ or ‘sudden infant death syndrome’).

Vassafor / Temple Nightside

Since Iron Bonehead Productions are one of those labels that bring nothing but quality when it comes to the sound of the True Underground (the most morbid way!), I am always enthralled when receiving new stuff. Just check out one of the several reviews I did for this Berlin-based label to share my passion and appreciation.

Nailgun Massacre

When I listened to the debut album Backyard Butchery by Dutch act Nailgun Massacre (Slowrunner Records, 2011), I was totally blown away. I gave it a score of 90/100, by the way, and I do not think I did exaggerate. Also some other reviewers / magazines / webzines, though being less influential than Concreteweb and undersigned, evidently (smiley…), were pretty enthusiastic.

Israthoum / Chalice Of Blood

The great Daemon Worship Productions-label was originally created in Russia, but resides in the U.S. nowadays. The label released quite some remarkable underground stuff in the past, and with this split they just continue that permanent quest for glory and superiority. It has been released as well via S.A.R.S. Productions, with two other bands bringing one track, but being extremely limited, but vinyl-fans will surely adore this specific issue.

Haiku Funeral

For quite some time, Haiku Funeral please / irritate humanity with quite disturbing collections of Aural Creation / Destruction. Via Hikikomiri Records, the band released two albums before, called Assassination In The Hashish Cathedral and If God Is A Drug (seen the titles, this might be somewhat mind-tripping???; so I’d like to suggest you to read the quite unusual and explicit lyrics and you’ll have an idea).

Geimhre

Canadian act Geimhre was formed almost fifteen years ago, and currently consists of (former / current) members of e.g. Wolfhammer Division and Fomorii.

Bestiality

If I am not mistaken, Bestiality are now debuting with this (limited) EP. The Warsaw, Poland-based quartet (drummer Vit Argos, guitar player Galin Soulreaper, bassist Tom Cultcommander and mouth of the netherworld Alberth Dust) did record this nasty piece at the B 65 Studio and the Bestial Sound, produced by the band, and engineered + mixed by Maciej Radecki, and it gets released by one of Poland’s most impressive labels, Old Temple.

Uluun

I have always had a ‘boontje’, like they say in Flanders, for stuff on Cold Raw’s roster. It’s just the intention of the thought behind each release that makes me (un)happy, non-depending the musical qualities. But now they do really surprise me with the release of Dank Dreiser !!! by French horde Uluun.

Uluun

I wrote this review pretty recently, after I received this album from Cold Raw Records. This label did re-release the stuff on February 13th 2015. But for one reason or another, it gets re-issued as well in a collaboration in between two other excellent labels, Switzerland’s Asgard Hass Productions and Symbol Of Domination, a sub-division of Satanath Records.

Ralf Rabendorn

Among Black Hearts is the newest pièce d’art by multi-disciplined artist Ralf Rabendorn: photographer, visual artist, music composer and performer (multi-instrumentalist and vocalist) and studio-guru, but he also runs his own Anti-Music label ContraMusikProduktion, nowadays totally in symbiosis with another great anti-trendy and anti-commercial, open-minded and underground-promotional label, Against it Records.
