Let’s start with an open question: is it possible to seek for, and find, some symbiosis of melodious beauty and chaotic harshness? Can Power-Electronics and semi-divinity result in acceptable structures? Let’s find out…

A quick one, but too interesting not to review: Voices Of Regret, the debut of The Great Wound. It’s a new outfit by Basque musicians Tristan Iniguez (ex-Darkness By Oath) and Ekaitz Garmendia (ex-Legen Beltza, Extinction). They did record (+ mix & master) this debut at the Auryn Studios (also in the Basque Country), and it lasts for forty-five minutes.
Blood Fire Death, Erzsebet and so on… I am dreaming of my favourite countess right now…
Hailing from Portland, Oregon, uSSa, Lung Molde were formed somewhere in 2015 by MS (drums), AD (guitars and bass) and JH (vocals and guitars). They wrote and recorded some compositions, which they did release independently the digital way in September 2015. Little later, the great and, I hope, upcoming American label Caligari Records decided to release the material on tape. This gets released in an edition limited to 175 copies.
A quick one once again, but one I really wanted to come back to. But it does not matter if being ‘short’ or ‘quick’, for the focus lies on the elementary elements (haha, what a lapsus).
So, Love Sex Machine hail from the most Northern shores of France, and in 2012, if I’m not mistaken, they had a first untitled release going on. And now they will conquer more ‘space’ with Asexual Anger, an eight-tracker that goes on in the vein of, and goes further than its predecessor.
French act Horologium are active since 2004, and as from then on they released quite an impressive number of recordings.
A quick one: Atomic Cucumber is a re-release of the original album from 2013, re-released in an edition of 500 hand-numbered copies via Dark Front and Zombie Records, with distributional assistance by Satanath Records. It’s a filthy piece that irritates the listener’s consciousness for half an hour, but in case you’re a masochistic entity, it might be a pleasure…
This album is a remarkable one, for it deals with an underestimated recording from quite a while ago. Actually, Yang-Tul was recorded and released on tape and vinyl in 1998 on Anomalous Records, a label run by Eric Lanzillotta.
It seems like a farewell, this title: The End Of It All. For a part, that’s correct, since it’s the last chapter in another trilogy by Swedish duo Beyond Sensory Experience. They had a first trilogy during last decade, being done via defunct Cold Meat Industry, and there was a second one that was released via Old Europa Café.
Shibalba are a Greek project with e.g. Acherontas V. Priest (known from e.g. Acherontas, Nihasa, Virus Of Koch, Acrimonious etc.) in its ranks. But despite those other projects this guy is, or was, involved with, Shibalba have nothing to do with (Black) Metal. ‘black’ is correct, ‘metal’ is not.
Well well, seems like Greek metallers of Rotting Flesh are still around… No flesh rotting yet out there…
