Yellowcard

Although this American band started out as a Punk Rock act with Hardcore leanings, they grew more and more commercial over the years, first sliding their way into the Pop Punk world (with 2003's album Ocean Avenue as their break-though album).

HateSphere

HateSphere dwell within a specific genre I do not like that much, but this Danish act has always been one of my absolute favourites within this modern Thrash-edged scene. The Napalm-release To The Nines from 2009, for example, was for sure one of my favourite Thrash albums that very same year.

SAHG

Whoever SAHG are, they’re good at it. Good at peddling classic/heavy/prog/stoner metal they knock it off here with taste and unashamed panache which keeps most of these 8 songs pretty appealing. Norway is where they come from a part called Bergen to be exact and this happens to be their fourth album..

Black Spiders

Black Spiders are an English rock band from Sheffield, U.K.. The band was formed in early 2008, where hey originally played a few shows under the name 'The Black Spiders'. They released the single :"St. Peter" in December 2008, followed by a small tour.

Lita Ford

‘The Bitch is Back ... Live’ is the brand new live album from the queen of hard rock. I was wondering what I was going to hear because she scored her biggest hits in the '80s. Luckily her latest album ‘Living Like A Runaway’ was much better than her comeback album 'Wonderland' (2009). The sound on the album is like it’s live. There is little adjustment to the album, not to the sound and not to the audience (no huge applause).

Coronatus

Actually, I have never been that enthusiastic with any of Coronatus’ previous releases. And to be honest, I will not after this album either. With Recreatio Carminis, this German so-called ‘female fronted’ Gothic Metal act brings forty eight minutes of slightly pathetic orchestrations. It’s a collection of bombastic and symphonic Metal-injected Opera-Gothic songs with classical skilled voices, predictable riffs and rhythms, über-catchy melodies and poppy-approachable structures.

Wizard

This German heavy metal band was formed by four friends: Michael Maaß (guitar), Sören Van Heek (drums), V.Leson (bass) and Sven D’Anna (vocals). This line up is still standing to this day what is a rarity to be honest, so they are a true group of musicians and much more important, friends. They have to be, otherwise they wouldn’t be around here for 24 years.

Schwarzer Engel

Schwarzer Engel are the solo-outfit of Ger-man Dave Jason. Via Trisol Music, he released the debut Apokalypse in 2010, followed later that year by the EP Geister Und Dämonen (‘ghost and demons’), and a second full length, Träume Einer Nacht (‘dream of a night’), in 2011. In mean time, Schwarzer Engel (Dave works with a permanent live crew) hit the road in our countries with e.g.

Grandexit

Grandexit is a Swedish metalband witch has been around for over 13 years and comes from the town of Västeras. Here in the midst of Sweden these chaps grew up and wanted to make innovative and melodic extreme metal. But before they played under their current name, they called themselves “Vicious”. Under that banner, they released 2 albums. 2010 marked the birth of their present name, and later on they released their “first” album.

Debauchery

In post-apocalyptic times the Blood God started this brutal death metal war machine called Debauchery. After 10 years of constant warfare (making music and touring), this themed band honed their skills and have gotten even more brutal and sinister. Yes this is a very special band, the controversy of the band has brought Debauchery time after time in contact with media, be it a story about the lesbian porn that the band promotes or articles about the loss of the teacher-job of the front man.
