Def Leppard

For those of you who don’t know the record “Hysteria” it’s time you discover one of the best gems that came from the 80’s. Every song on this album could have been released as a single. Now you have the chance to witness the Music in it’s purest sense, “Def Leppard” did the effort to play the entire album live on their visit to the city of sin, Las Vegas. Not only did they play the album from front to back but it also was recorded to be released as a full blown high definition Bluray/DVD/2CD  release.

Death Angel

Death Angel has come to be known as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the thriving Bay Area Thrash Metal Scene in the early 1980s. Initially active from 1982 to 1991 and again since 2001. Death Angel has released seven studio albums, two demo tapes, one box set and two live records.

Dead Lord

Dead Lord are a new band from Stockholm, Sweden and the first I can tell you is that the portrait of hard rock from the ’70s is the music of “Goodbye Repetance” for today. Don’t expect anything else apart from pure hard rock. Whoever had a taste of their 7″ EP “No Prayers Can Help You” could realize that the band loves Thin Lizzy and honestly the most guitar parts of the album are like a tribute to them on a way to thank them for what they have offered in music.

Centinex

There are so many re-releases lately, from (especially) Death-stuff from the Old Times. There’s nothing wrong with that for a couple of reasons. More than once, the re-issue comes with bonus material which is previously unreleased, or extremely hard to find (limited vinyl recordings, for example, live material from unprofessional yet rememberable gigs, or demo tapes). Sometimes the re-release is sold out for a long time and therefor very welcome. However, there are re-releases that add nothing at all, and it’s only interesting for those who do not have that specific material at all.

Carcass

I was thinking and philosophising about a decent, honest introduction to this album. How would I introduce this legendary KULT act? How could I introduce this new epos? Would it be fair to refer to the glorious past? Should it be opportune to focus on this band’s unique, and more-than-interesting history? And how would I express my gratitude? Carcass just are ultimate protagonists of Extreme Music, and without this band, the current scene certainly would not be what it has become nowadays…

Cannibal Accident

The year of 2007, somewhere in the cold North… Two sickos, called Lenets and Kolkka, wanted to express their appreciation / gratitude / whatever for bands like earlier Napalm Death and S.O.D. by going into extremes. ‘let’s sicken the world with gore and brutality’, they were thinking, and so they did when entering the studio.

Bleed From Within

Three years on from “Empire”, Bleed From Within completed by guitarists Martyn Evans and Craig Gowans and bassist Davie Provan, are finally ready to launch their next album ‘Uprising’ on the metal world.

Zodiac

Zodiac comes from Münster ( Germany) and was formed in 2010 with former(old) members of Misery Speaks ( Death Metal ) and among others current Janosch Rathmer drummer of Long Distance Calling. The music of Zodiac is according to me a mixture of Blues " Underneath " in Classik Rock " Downtown ". We can also hear on certain songs of the influences rock of the 70s. " Leave behind me as well as " believer " let us in to the world of the rock ballads of the 80s.

Wolvserpent

With Perigaea Antahkarana, the Drone Death duo (singer/ guitarist/ keyboardist Blake Green and drummer/ violinist Brittany McConnell) known as Wolvserpent releases its sophomore full-length, and its debut for Relapse Records.
