Tamerlan

This makes sense… Tamerlan, the solo-outfit of Serbian Timur Iskandarov, signed to Casus Belli Musica, a fantastic Russian label run by a great crew of devoted Music fans. Dmitry and friends: Уважение!

Winterblood

This is not a review on a new recording by German band Winterblood, you know, the one that gave pleasure (or irritation?) to the Black Metal scene with their 2013-album Herbstsehnsucht. That album was released via French label Le Crépuscule Du Soir Productions (at this moment having a break, apparently???), and the funny thing is that this very same label also released something from another act called Winterblood: Anelli, 2014.

Sect 37

Stuart J Harris started the outfit Section 37 almost two decades ago, releasing stuff under the monikers of Section 37, Sect 37 or S 37. Always in a collaboration with another artist, Stuart writes, records and releases his electronic madness, and a label’s name that returns is that of Aesthetic Death, one of the greatest names, to my personal opinion, when talking about the weirdest dimensions of Doom and Ambient frenzy (and much more).

Stalnye Nervy

A couple of years ago, I can in touch with Alexey Korolyov, a very sympathetic guy from Saint-Petersburg who ran (and still runs) the label Satanath Records, and the guy behind the very interesting projects Satanath and Abigorum. In mean time he also founded Symbol Of Domination Productions, another excellent label from Russia. Both labels characterise diversity, yet with a certain darkened, f*cked-up attitude. All kinds of extreme Metal are like welcome on both labels.

Coliseum

Coliseum are a young project from the city of Liège, Belgium, which includes members of Sercati / The Nightstalker (their albums have been reviewed by undersigned – enter the band’s name in the ‘search’-tab to read the reviews on them) and (in mean time) Zardens (latest album reviewed as well; check it out via the very same approach). The band’s existence is based on a concept, and as the moniker sort of says, it indeed has to do with the glorious gladiator fights at the Coliseum in Rome.

Antzaat

You know, I was sort of depressed, for I didn’t hear anything about Immortal Frost Productions and possible new releases anymore since quite some time. In very early Spring this year, this Belgian label released Satan Ov Suns by Scandinavian top-act Doedsvargr, yet then all noise faded away into an ear-piercing silence. So imagine my semi-happiness when noticing that the label came back quite recently with – evidently – again a superb release.

Skag Arcade

What I do appreciate when referring to Spain-based Craneal Fracture Records’ roster is the diversity Jose Murcia and his crew have to offer. Everything that dwells within regions of Harsh Noise, Musique Concrète, Experimental Drone, Field Recordings, Noise Wall, Power Electronics and the likes might pass by. Even some extremer sub-genres of the Metal area are represented from time to time.

Culto Negro

For one reason or another, Satanath Records and sub-label Symbol Of Domination Productions have some secret passion for the Costa Rican Extreme Metal scene.
