Creinium

Finland’s Creinium were formed in Spring 2012 by Aleksi Holma, Juuso Putti and Antti Myllynen after melodic Death Metal band Path Of Annihilation broke up. They started recording a first demo, Modern World Tyranny, which was finally released at the very end of Spring 2013, and the reactions were very positive in the band’s home country. The Hard Rock / Metal magazine Inferno even elected this demonstrational stuff as ‘demo of the month’, for what it’s worth.

Cemetery Lust

Portland, Oregon-based band Cemetery Lust was formed in 2009. After some demonstrational efforts, the band signed to Headsplit Records, and in 2012 they released the debut album Screams Of The Violated. Shortly after, the band moved over to Hells Headbangers, which did re-release the first album in mean time.

Abaddon Incarnate

Abaddon Incarnate from Ireland were formed when Bereaved were put to rest in 1994. After some demos, they were signed by France’s label Season Of Mist, and in 1999 they released The Last Supper, followed in 2001 by Nadir (through Sentinel) and Dark Crusade in 2004 (Xtreem Music).

Zeno Morf

Once assed  the intro “Souls of a frozen earth” dies out, it becomes immediately  clear what we’ve got on our plate, no nonsense heavy metal as if crafted in the  eighties… ZENO MORF from Norway provide us singalong heavy  metal with no doubt can be appreciated by a many headbangers who are still convinced that it’s 1984  and not 2014 and there is nothing wrong with that.  Granted the vocals of ERIK Westerlund are not exactly at the same level as let’s say mr Dirkscneider or a certain guy named Halford.  You also w

Woman Is The Earth

According to the info this release of “Women is the earth“  took 3 years of writing  an making it… all this in order to as they put it “uphold the conception of the music”… What I hear is 4 far too long tracks (Length ranging from 8 to 16 minutes) of underproduced  black’ ish” metal…  The band app intentionally keeps low profile only playing shows occasionally  and in surround areasof  there homestead located in South Dakota, I can only support that decision, as half assed “mighty” Bathory influenced  “noise”   is something I don’t need more off…

We Are the Damned

Three years ago, the then recent addition to the ConcreteWeb family, Jeroen, reviewed this Portuguese band's third full-length album Holy Beast, not caring much for the offering...in fact, he kinda dragged it through the mud some! I'm afraid he didn't quite understand where the band comes from, and what their intentions were, or he might at least have understood what he'd been listening to, and not just slag the band down because of personal musical tastes.

Vanexa

Bit of a weird one, this "re-issue". You see, in the info that comes with the download promo, there's no mention at all of a release date, and an extensive search on the internet failed to give me any info on that current date.

Vanhelga

As an idea in the back of One's mind, the Swedish “Black Metal” act Vanhelga has been in existence at least since 2001, but the nihilistic hateful thoughts behind it have been the core life teachings of One, also known as 145188 (in real life as J. Ottosson), whom as a child looked around at all the domesticated people with their meaningless lifestyles around him... and decided that society was no place for him, and from there that life itself, as lived by so many around him, was no place for him.

Vaginal Penetration Of An Amelus With A Musty Carrot / Teen Pussy Fuckers

I very recently reviewed the six-way split Monsters! … (see update June 2nd 2014 under ‘various’), which brought pretty refreshing, original and / or at least distinctive Grindcore-attacks, and now Kaotoxin are here again with another grinding split, this time by two sweet combos that will make you gradually nauseous. A Fairytale Full Of Apotemnophiliac Moments is how this collection of Gore / Porn lullabies is entitled, and it will be released in a limited edition of 1,000 copies with no repressing afterwards.
