Nashville Pussy

Nashville Pussy is a band that of course I’d heard of before, but never paid any attention.  I thought with a name like that they would either play some indigestible mix of punk and heavy metal, or pure glam rock.

Mount Salem

Mount Salem is Emily Kopplin (vocals & organ), Cody Davidson (drums), Mark Hewett (bass) and Kyle Morrison (guitars) they are from US, Chicago. Playing psychedelic rock and doom metal.

Monte Pittman

Monte Pittman born in Longview, Texas, US. Who has played and written with Madonna, Prong and others…Received in 2012 The music award of best solo artist and was, nominated for Best Rock Artist, Best Blues and Album of the year. A chameleon in the music branch, played with the greatest in the world. Also playing on the album: Kane Ritchotte (drums), and Max Whipple (bass).

Eye Of Solitude

This London-based British Funeral Doom Metal act was founded in April of 2010 as a one-man project by lead singer Daniel Neagoe (known also from Colosus, Deos, God Eat God, and formerly of My Shadow, Clouds, Fogland, Gothic, Imber Luminis, Tiarra, Unfathomable Ruination, L.O.S.T. and Amatris – in other words, a well-seasoned musician!), whom released Eye Of Solitude

Domovoyd

Woah...what a great act, this Domovoid! Imagine what might happen if a singer/ lead guitarist raised on a daily dose of Hawkwind, and a rhythm guitarist/ keyboardist whose main course was a consequent package of Black Sabbath, would come together on a friendly basis to start playing music together...that's what this band sounds like...for real! I other words, what you get here is the heaviest Psychedelic Rock, subgenre Space Rock, you have ever heard!

Chris Grant

There is apparently a history of friendship between this Liverpool based artist, and 359Music's CEO & producer Alan McGee, which goes back to 2007, when Chris was fronting the band The Grants and played at McGee's West London night club Death Disco. According to McGee, they clicked on the basis of both being “a round peg in a square hole”, and if he'd had a label back then, the band would've been signed on the spot!

Axel Rudi Pell

Fans of Axel Rudi Pell can buy this new album without any hesitation.  Once again, this band, who started out in the late eighties, has brought us a very good album. If, like me, you’re old enough to have lived in the eighties, and are a metal fan, you might probably still remember Axel Rudi Pell’s  work with Steeler (The German Steeler, not to be confused with the band  that featured Ron Keel).
