Levictus

Of Swedish’origins, apparently originally released in 1985, this delayed release of Levictus only full-length album is certainly not too groundbreaking. The Strongest Power is somewhat fair ‘80s metal that stays too much on the generic side. The tracks are pretty heavy stompers, not exactly too imaginative but with some nice details; especially in the guitar department, throughout.. Despite the convincing delivery and very consistent style this album is still strained by some dullness as the songs sound a little too samey.

Jorn

There’s hardly a year that goes by without Jorn releasing a new album.  Of course the man has a fantastic voice and most of the time is accompanied by a great band, so you’ll not hear a real complaint from me.

Intöxicated

The Hells Headbangers-crew has a good nose for sleaziness, and to prove it again, they will release Röck ‘n Roll Hellpatröl by German quartet Intöxicated (Jackhammer-b, ÄC-d, Löuie-v, and El Ranchö-g). Thrashing Rock’n’Roll in its widest spectrum (from Speed up to Death and Black Metal) is their trademark, but only in the rawest Old School form, and that’s why this label gets appreciated very intensively by undersigned.

Hyperdump

Hyperdump hail from the north of France and in 2012 the band released their debut full length, called Rational Pain, through Klonosphere as well. A couple of years before, there was a mini-recording too (self-called), but since I haven’t heard that stuff…

High On Fire

This live performance is displaying a tight High on Fire in the year 2012 at the Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg in New York.. We get 15 tracks in your face without any long breaks or long stories told to the audience.

Grandexit

Grandexit is a Swedish metalband witch has been around for over 13 years and comes from the town of Västeras. Here in the midst of Sweden these chaps grew up and wanted to make innovative and melodic extreme metal. But before they played under their current name, they called themselves “Vicious”. Under that banner, they released 2 albums. 2010 marked the birth of their present name, and later on they released their “first” album.

Gorthaur’s Wrath

Gorthaur’s Wrath were formed in Croatia in 1998. However, it took an eternity before the band was able to release its debut. This one was called Ritual IV and got spawned onto the Earth in early 2011 via Casket Music.

Front Beast

Front Beast, a solo-project of Mr. Avenger, hail from Germany and return with their second full length studio album (their debut on Hells Headbangers), which lasts for forty four minutes.

Fred Colombo

This is real shit. The promo sheet reports Memoria as a pop album with touches of electronic, ambient, dance, house, fusion and metal. I suppose that there's a specific demographic that will swallow this whole and think it fine cuisine but the rest of us would be well advised to leave this release on the store shelves.

Facebreaker

Swedish outlet Facebreaker was formed at the very end of last millennium. A demonstrational and a promotional recording during the early 2000’s made the band draw attention of Rage Of Achilles, whom the band signed to shortly after. The band recorded a first full length, Bloodred Hell, but because of financial problems at the Rage Of Achilles headquarters, the promotion on that album unfortunately was far beneath acceptance (‘unfortunately’ because of the exceptional high quality).
