I did mention the name of Vladimir Prokofiev a couple of times before. However, this was linked to his visual art for cover paintings / drawings. Vladimir is the guy behind the famous Paint-It-Black Design, known for his works for albums by bands like A Thousand Sufferings, Taiga, Vehementor, Ethir Anduin, Istina and many more.
Our dear friends from Brahmastrika return with a new EP, easily called Abhabaniyastral Samsarimplication (if you can spit this title out for five times without hesitating, I’ll give you a well-deserved thumbs-up). Okay, we do not expect to have a new release with a simplistic title by this India-based act, seen their former one being called Excarnastrial Commencination (this demonstrational recording, by the way, has been re-released via the band’s current label and might be reviewed too by undersigned in some near future).
As you might know in the meantime, Moloch Conspiracy’s frontman Julien Lacroix runs the new label Ungaikyō Prod., which releases Electronic Music (from Dark Ambient to Dungeon Synth) that is inspired by the (ancient) Japanese culture. The label releases material from some of Julien’s own solo-outfits (like the one this review deals with), as well as from other artists. As said, there is one goal: dark-edged Music with a focus on old Japanese traditions.
Act Of Entropy is a project by Pan, a dedicated Underground musician and promotor, and his partner (in crime) (who prefers to remain sort of anonymous). The project was formed four years ago or so, and exist ‘to explore the boundaries of what we can do’. The duo did record a hand full of releases in the past (i.e. demonstrational recordings and stuff), and about one year ago they did digitally release the Abyssal Esurience EP. Even-though it was finished and published one year ago (and a couple of days), I still want it to bring to mind.

One of the many (solo) outfits by English gentleman Nox, here known as Shadows, is called Sacred Dominions. You might recognize this guy as well from projects like the productive duo Wolves Eyes, sadly defunct Forest Grave, Sinisterite (which also includes Molestor Kadotus and Shatraug; unfortunately put on hold), Martial Dungeon Synth act Folcriht or Dark Autumn, amongst several others.

Silent Obsession are a young project (formed in 2017) from Algerian soil, formed by Max Marginal. At the end of Spring 2020, as a quartet, Silent Obsession independently released a first EP, called Lost. Now, about one year later (and a couple of minutes or so), the project finished a second EP with the working title Countdown, also independently released.
Actually I was not about to write a review on this album, for it was released almost a year and a half ago. But then again, as you might know, I do not, ever, mind to write down my thoughts and ideas about material that has not been released recently; as long as it does deserve any additional promotion or support, you can count me in.
The moniker ‘genune’ is often used in Romanian translation as ‘precipice’ or ‘abyss’ or so. But it is the name as well for a promising act from Romanian soil, formed about one decade ago. Throughout these past ten years, Genune did finish a limited yet quite great and interesting amount of stuff, i.e. the albums Cern Sol and Inert & Unerring. The latter is the content of this review, inspired by a novel of Arthur Koestler when it comes to the title of this album; not unimportant to understand the thematical approach.
