George Bellas

George Bellas is an American guitarist and composer who besides his solo albums, has worked with several well-known artists including John West, Magellan and Uli Jon Roth. Now for the fourth time the guitar virtuoso joined forces with Dutch drummer extraordinaire Marco Minneman on an album full of screaming guitars, eccentric rhythms and chaotic improvisations. The result is ‘Astral Projection’ which contains 70 minutes of epic progressive instrumentals.

Ereb Altor

Ereb Altor is the brainchild of Ragnar and Mats, the doom masters behind Isole. On this collaboration, this Swedish duo takes Viking metal to a new place. If you can call it that way. for the band knows how to perfectly place folk/Viking elements and haunting vocals over a doom metal foundation

Ephemeros

Formed in 2010, this doom metal band features members of various bands such as: Nux Vomica, Graves At Sea, Elitist, and Bastard Feast. These guys are pleased to announce their unholy union with Seventh Rule Recordings for the impending unleashing of their debut full-length, "All Hail Corrosion." The album was tracked and mixed by Fester (Atriarch

Decaying

About one year after the magisterial record Encirclement, Finland’s Decaying release their third full length via Hellthrasher Records from Poland. With The Last Days Of War, the quartet (guitar player / vocalist Matias Nastolin, bassist Sebastian Bergman, guitarist Henri Hirvonen, and drummer Benjam Lahdenpää) plays on in the vein of the former stuff, both musically and lyrically.

Benesser

I don’t know for certain, but is it normal for a band whose members have been together for 15 years already, to wait that long to release a debut album ?  Originally these guys started under the name of No Brakes and played on some festivals, but at a certain moment they changed their name to Benesser.  They hail from Sweden, and according to the leaflet that accompanied the album, their music should appeal to people liking bands like Muse, Coldplay, Rush, and a few other bands.

Toxic Shock

Hey, seems like this bandname has had quite some popularity with Thrash Metal acts in the past (era late '80s – early '90s) with no less than 3 acts known by that name having recorded material for posterity. From Germany (the Eislingen/ Baden-Würtemberg area) came a band which released 3 full-length albums between 1988 to 1992 (with 2 demos prior), and in the US there were twó bands, one from West Mystic (Connecticut) which left us a 1989 EP, and one from NYCity (and members of Tampa, Florida) which produced 5 demos between 1988 and 1992.

The JCQ

Originally known as James Cleaver Quintet (in spite of originally only sporting 4 members), this Experimental Hardcore/ Metal act from the seaside town of Eastbourne in East Sussex (South-East of England) was founded in 2006, but it wasn't until January 2010 that the band (then comprised of singer Jack Swagger, guitarist Maud E Licious, bassist Jimmy Diego and drummer Mackerel Skarrington – those being stage names, of course) released its debut EP Ten Stages Of A Make Up through the ond

Taberah

Taberah was created and Inspired by the strong musical bond between Jonathon Barwick and Tom Brockman, and saw light in 2004. The bands sound can best be described as influenced by typical big bands like Iron Maiden, AC/DC and Black Sabath. Typical, but that doesn’t mean bad.

Skeletal Spectre

Skeletal Spectre from Sweden were formed about five years ago by someone called Behold The Pentagram. After the band signed to Razorback Recordings, the act released the fabulous debut album Tomb Coven. The album was followed by Occult Spawned Premonitions, also done via Razorback as well as Selfmadegod Records.
